Hello! June has been such a busy month but I still wanted to write something~
This month.. this month has truly been a hassle and a half.
We managed to fill in all the needed documents for WCS and our costumes are in good shape!
We also went to Desucon and judged the Hall cosplay competition with Noora Cosplay and Anniilaugh. I've never been to summer Desucon so I was super excited. I also finished my Ponyo costume and I used the wig which I dyed last year!
Here's the video:
Judging was super fun and we met many new faces. Also congrats to Jesmo for the ECC win!

I feel like I could talk more on the stage! It was really fun and I'm gaining more and more experience!
So on to the Anwar business! I'm probably like 85% done. Still need to bust my butt and work hard.

Bracelets. So many bracelets.
I had to redo the scarf but it turned out even better!
I practiced lasering!
I cutted over 200 pieces for Taija for her cape!
Some process and testing.
Okay, let's talk serious for a second.
This year has been one of the hardest and one of the best years in my life. I've met so many awesome and lovely people and being able to attend to so many conventions. I feel truly blessed. I realized about a week ago how hard I've been on myself when it comes to making Anwar. Me and Taija have always done this for fun. We're not master cosplayers, we're not perfectionists. We do things in our way. Somewhere along this journey I forgot the fact that I can't be master at this very second. It takes time patience and I can't punish myself of not being perfect. I don't ever want make this hobby a serious one. I want to evolve but slowly, learning from my mistakes.
Don't be so hard on yourself, we're all advancing in our own pace.
I ALSO STARTED WATCHING LITTLE WITCH ACADEMIA! I WANT TO COSPLAY AKKO SO BADLY
27 DAYS TILL JAPAN
I'M SO EXCITED
Yours Truly: Veera
